How can i tell if my Nav/taxi lights are on in the cockpit, since I can't see past the seat?

Sometimes when I arm/rearm online the crew doesn't respond when they are done and we can't see around the seat. How do I make sure I am loaded up?

I saw R77 on the Hud after start up with the dashes, so i figured I was good but when I was engaged and went to fire nothing happened. I would just fly the Su27 but I think it is handicapped online without R-77's and everyone using aim120's.

Thanks for the help.

You can use the left alt + ' keys to see if you have missiles on, but I don't think there is a way of checking your lights without external views.

One day in DCS... Vipers will fly along side Tomcats... Bugs with Superbugs, Tiffy's with Tornado's, Fulcrums with Flankers and Mirage with Rafales...

:)The Future of DCS is a bright one:)

Yep. Nobody know why the Mig-29 wins are invisible from cockpit. Probably a bug, a weird one. Just try set combat mode when you are rearming and you will see your payload. I do that

Right now in DCS when you hear that a R-77 have hit some fighter, then was not in a BVR fight or the opponent is a new DCS guy.

The R-77 is not a BVR missile to engage a fighter because ED have downgraded the performance "in game". This missile is completely useless after some modification made to the game.

If you have info on the R-77 flight performance, then maybe you should pass it on to ED so they can fix it.

Does anybody know if this is true in RL MiG-29 or just a limit of in game views, track IR,or a bug.i find it hard to believe in RL MiG-29 that the pilot can't see his NAV lights looking out of the cockpit.wouldnt this also hinder checking your six in a dogfight if you can't see around the seat?

You can rotate the mirrors in real life :D

Limit of the 2D cockpit, 6 DOF cockpit should make your life easier, but MiG-29 doesn't have the best view from the pit AFAIK.
