PE_Tigar Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 I'm not an expert or anything, but the wings on the model are on backwards (trailing edge first).
Cool Breeze Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 +1 For taking on the project Sukhoi! Not bad progress in a couple of weeks! Hope to see her in the sky!:pilotfly: Good Luck! 1 "For once you have tasted flight you will walk the earth with your eyes turned skywards, for there you have been and there you will long to return." Sukhoi25 Posted August 3, 2015 Author Posted August 3, 2015 (edited) Thank you:):)! A thing to note is that probably it will be a mod. (SU-25T or A-10A Hud) The reason of it is because ED releases C++ DLLs to developers that prove they have already knowledges in programming, but i haven't these, so on subsequence, if one day it will be finish it will be mod. Sukhoi25 Posted August 26, 2015 Author Posted August 26, 2015 Hello guys: small update. Some of you will get angry but i decided to swap the A-29 with the Beechcraft T-6 "Texan II" family. The why: i am Swiss and first the T-6 has wing easier to model, but the much bigger why is that i have a good platform near to house: the Pilatus PC-7MkII. The T-6 was developed from Pilatus PC-9M which is (dimensions) exactly the same of the PC-7MkII, so in SFM and animations it's a good start point. The T-6 has a very powerful COIN version which it's the AT-6C bought by Iraqi Air Force which is much better than the Tucano. The cockpit is similar (I don't wanna travel to Brazil every time to take a good look at it) and uses US weapons so no need to model new weapons like Python-3 from Israel of Tucano. Hope to can post progresses and that you will like them in anycase :music_whistling: Bye, SU AMD FX-8350 @ 4.0 GHz, GIGABYTE (AMD) Radeon R9 280X Series @ 3GB Video, ATI Radeon / Realtek HD SoundCard, GIGABYTE FX-990GAUD Motherboard, Samsung 840EVO SSD @ 120GB, WD Caviar Blue @ 1TB
Stratos Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 Bad news for me. Good luck. I don't understand anything in russian except Davai Davai!
PiedDroit Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 Good luck with the new aircraft, you don't owe anything to anyone so it's perfectly OK to switch to another one that will be easier for you to do.
Sukhoi25 Posted August 26, 2015 Author Posted August 26, 2015 (edited) Bad news for me. Good luck. Stratos! Be happy! AT-6C Coyote has better LGB ability than AT-29 (twoseater) and A-29 (oneseater) don't has it... So :music_whistling: EDIT: Has anybody blueprint for the T-6A texan II? didnt found them. Instead using PC-9M Edited August 26, 2015 by Sukhoi25 Bye, SU AMD FX-8350 @ 4.0 GHz, GIGABYTE (AMD) Radeon R9 280X Series @ 3GB Video, ATI Radeon / Realtek HD SoundCard, GIGABYTE FX-990GAUD Motherboard, Samsung 840EVO SSD @ 120GB, WD Caviar Blue @ 1TB
Sukhoi25 Posted August 26, 2015 Author Posted August 26, 2015 I just discovered to have a big shit on my pC! Blender doesn't run. Expect delays... So :music_whistling: EDIT: Has anybody blueprint for the T-6A texan II? didnt found them. Instead using PC-9M You can create the plane you want, but the Texan is not better than the Super Tucano. Just ask the LAS program. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Light_Attack/Armed_Reconnaissance I don't understand anything in russian except Davai Davai!
Sukhoi25 Posted August 27, 2015 Author Posted August 27, 2015 As far as i know coyote has not been selected for the USAF on the LAS because of 'buy american' rules. It has been judged that Sierra Nevada which offerted the A-29 (oneseater: without FLIR) is 'more american' that Hawker (GB) Beech (US) craft Raytheon (US) that offerted the AT-6C an extensive reworking of the PC-9M (CH). AT-6 has FLIR and A-29 no. AT-6 has a more powerful version of the PT6A engine and a lighter empty weight. It results in a better T/W ratio. T-6 is currently in service with more AFs including USAF, USN, Luftwaffe. But let's not start a debate please. Stratos Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 It seems we are talking about different planes, as I have never seeen a single seater Super Tucano, the USAF tested a dual seater with FLIR. And the Super Tucano is in service in the combat variant (not a trainer) in Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Dominican Republic, Indonesia and Chile while I think the AT6 is not in operation anywhere, just the trainer original is, not the armed prototypes. And I can understand and respect that you like the Texan more, but saying is better than a battle tested plane is a bit too much for me. I don't understand anything in russian except Davai Davai!
borba_eagle Posted August 29, 2015 Posted August 29, 2015 Any progress with Super Tucano? If you need pictures or anything, just call me by PM or here!
