Woogey Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 Hello Friends, I see a lot of people have mods for things like new ships, and objects. How hard would it be to import new civilian Ai aircraft. E.D. has stated that these are very low on the priority list, but Dubai and McCarran will absolutely look odd, if you don't have A320, 737, 747, and 777 at the gates. Also on the Military side, I always longed for a C-141B Starlifter to match up with our FC3 era aircraft. How hard is it to add in these type of aircraft into the mix? There are a lot of freeware available with the correct liveries. If this somehow still breaks EULA's, I would be willing to purchase 3d models, if someone could help me get them into, and functioning in the sim. Sincerely, Woog
NRG-Vampire Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 (edited) How hard is it to add in these type of aircraft into the mix? very easy, but it needs a perfectly arg-animated 3D model by the way: are you from Seattle, maybe from Mukilteo ? :) few images from the "what if" screenshot thread: Edited July 22, 2015 by NRG-Vampire
vicx Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 (edited) It is an interesting idea but I am wondering if there is lower hanging fruit than using AI. In the air you will need AI but on the ground it might be enough to have simple scripted sequences. I do wonder what ED has in store for the bone system they are implementing for human models. It might lend itself to other applications. EXAMPLE 1: Being able to control animation sequences from mission script. EXAMPLE 2: Being able to control bones from mission script. Woogey Posted July 23, 2015 Author Posted July 23, 2015 Hello NRG, I am from the Seattle area, but not Mukilteo. I actually live down south a bit near Lake Tapps. I work at the Boeing factory in Renton. Now you may understand my desire to see proper airliners at these International Airports. Also my proximity to McChord AFB put C-141's, F-15's, and A-10's over my home quite regularly as a kid. I think they use the distinctive shape of the lake as a VFR landmark.

Where did you get this? Pls advise? Am trying to do a mission with proper civilian traffic.:joystick: [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
