yoevro Posted August 11, 2015 Share Posted August 11, 2015 I'm getting repeated crashes seemingly at random when i'm playing online in MP (possibly SP too, but i don't play SP enough to know at this point). the fault module in the windows crash report alternates between msvcr110.dll and nedmalloc.dll. I've opened a support ticket, but ED just basically told me to get a new video card, so that wasnt super helpful.. things i've done: -Reinstalled C++ -Reinstalled DirectX -Repaired DCS world -Completely Reinstalled DCS world anything else i should try? does it matter that some of my modules are ported over from steam? here is the most recent crash log: # -------------- 20150811-051007 -------------- # C0000005 ACCESS_VIOLATION at E676C3B9 00:00000000 00000000 00000000 0000:00000000 E676C3B9 0020F1D0 0000:00000000 memmove()+39 6E4FB9D0 0020F1D8 0000:00000000 AC6FDC18 0020F1E0 0000:00000000 DED67231 0020F260 0000:00000000 ??4EffectHolderImpl@PSEffects@@QEAAAEAV01@AEBV01@@Z()+D41 DED6D0B4 0020F2A0 0000:00000000 ??_F?$_String_alloc@$0A@U?$_String_base_types@DV?$allocator@D@std@@@std@@@std@@QEAAXXZ()+A4 F5A076A7 0020F340 0000:00000000 F5A07AE5 0020F390 0000:00000000 4022DC3F 0020F420 0000:00000000 4023007D 0020F480 0000:00000000 40245484 0020F4B0 0000:00000000 4024578B 0020F4E0 0000:00000000 402EF28B 0020F550 0000:00000000 402EFAE6 0020FB70 0000:00000000 402F2B90 0020FBB0 0000:00000000 775B59CD 0020FBE0 0001:000149CD C:\Windows\system32\kernel32.dll BaseThreadInitThunk()+D 777EB981 0020FC30 0001:0002A981 C:\Windows\SYSTEM32\ntdll.dll RtlUserThreadStart()+21 System Specs: Windows 7 64 bit Intel i7-4790k @4.0Ghz Corsair H100i 16 gigs Gskill DDR3 2x Gigabyte GTX-970 G1 Gaming SLI MSI z97 G5 500GB intel SSD Corsair HX850 TPLink Wireless adapter Qnix 27" monitor at 2650 x 1440 Controllers: Saitek X52 CH Pro Rudder pedals TrackIR 4 Modules: A-10C, P-51D, Fw-190D9, Bf-109-K4, F-15C, UH-1H, Mi-8, C-101, Su-27, MiG-21BIS, MiG-15BIS, F-86F, Ka-50 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
ED Team BIGNEWY Posted August 11, 2015 ED Team Share Posted August 11, 2015 (edited) does it matter that some of my modules are ported over from steam? If you are using the stand alone version and not steam, as long as they keys from your steam modules have been bound to your account, and then installed in the usual way via the module manager it should not be a problem. Things to try. go to your saved games folder and delete the data, fxo, and missioneditor folders, or rename your dcs folder in saved games and allow the sim to create a new one, you can move your controls folder back to the new one afterwards. AtaliaA1 Posted August 11, 2015 Share Posted August 11, 2015 What do you mean by "Ported Over". Copy and pasted the folder to another location? Some users have had to delete the C++ files and then re-install them not just reinstalling when they received errors such as yours. This was a Boutique Builder iBuypower rig.
