SimFreak Posted May 24, 2006 Posted May 24, 2006 Don’t they (military channel) have a footage of AAA firing? They are using footage pf artillery…. Looks bloody silly….
Mustang Posted May 24, 2006 Posted May 24, 2006 Don’t they (military channel) have a footage of AAA firing? They are using footage pf artillery…. Looks bloody silly…. LOL yep i know what you mean, F-18, Su-27 footage was slipped in there too, guess they think the average joe can't tell the difference.
SimFreak Posted May 24, 2006 Posted May 24, 2006 I noticed those little ‘oppsies’ too. I wonder if Israel knew that fuel rods were not inside reactor at that time….or they took a gamble and did it anyway. If not, Geiger counter would be happily going off in surrounding area.
Pilotasso Posted May 24, 2006 Posted May 24, 2006 No, they knew that the reactor was not yet fueled. They struck as late as possible before it was installed to make the damage on the plant the most irreversible as possible. .
BusySilent Posted May 24, 2006 Posted May 24, 2006 Read Raid on the Sun's very detail account of the operation, including preparation.
Brit_Radar_Dude Posted May 25, 2006 Posted May 25, 2006 Don’t they (military channel) have a footage of AAA firing?….Looks bloody silly….Yeah, that annoyed me too, other goofs too. Don't they employ people with enough knowledge to get these things correct? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Sorry Death, you lose! It was Professor Plum....
4c Hajduk Veljko Posted May 25, 2006 Posted May 25, 2006 Great mission great movie! I spent a year in Israel and have friends in that great country. Pilotasso Posted May 25, 2006 Posted May 25, 2006 Yeah, that annoyed me too, other goofs too. Don't they employ people with enough knowledge to get these things correct? There is footage on the http://www.aviapedia.com site in the F-16 directory. But bear in mind that cockpit footage is of very poor quality by nature. And it requires a carefull look into it to spot the AAA, and even the plane thats is filmed leeding the attack and droping the first bombs just in front of the HUD . .
