hannibal Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 let say i reinstalled my computer more than 3 times or have gotten and upgrade in which i would have hit the limit of number of activations, say i never even got to play, what happens from there? :/ find me on steam! username: Hannibal_A101A http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197969447179
Nevyn Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 Yeah I would also like to know this, I am down to one activation after upgrading and then a system crash, and I haven't flown the campaign either yet, I have a another system upgrade coming soon, so this is a concern.
Rangi Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 If it works the same as aircraft modules once you have used your last activation, you will be credited with one more a month after you used the last one. PC: 6600K @ 4.5 GHz, 12GB RAM, GTX 970, 32" 2K monitor.
cichlidfan Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 Has anyone tried to deactivate the campaign? I don't own it, but perhaps deactivation is an option. There are 10 for my modules and they never get reset to nine or ten activations, ever. You get a single new activation, 30 days after you use your last activation, when your remaining number of activations reaches zero. When you use that newly gained activation, and your count returns to zero, you will get another activation (after 30 days). It will continue that way until the sun goes out, or the Vogons destroy the earth, whichever comes first. ;) Edited September 12, 2015 by cichlidfan ASUS ROG Maximus VIII Hero, i7-6700K, Noctua NH-D14 Cooler, Crucial 32GB DDR4 2133, Samsung 950 Pro NVMe 256GB, Samsung EVO 250GB & 500GB SSD, 2TB Caviar Black, Zotac GTX 1080 AMP! cichlidfan Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 I don't own the campaign but I would hope the replenishment system is the same. I wonder if it can be deactivated, like an aircraft module. gerd Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 Well, the number of deactivations is also limited (10 for regular modules), so it is the same like having 20 activations from the start, isn't it?

RangerUK Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 I have just checked mine and you get the choice to either activate or deactivate . Hope that helps
a5phyx1at10n Posted September 22, 2015 Posted September 22, 2015 This was the response I received from Eagle Dynamics when I asked them about activations just over a year ago. Just thought I should share. Konstantin Kharin14-09-2014 05:43:15Quote Hello. My recommendations is: Before: -Change your computer hardware or -Reinstall the operating system Deactivate your modules, that would not lose one activation on the updated configuration. http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/faq/activate/#deactivation But don't worry. Activations endless. This means that when the activation is completely used, through 30 days will be added another one, i.e. will be for 1 more. Best regards and many happy landings !
