Lots of talk of cheap SSDs, but price hasn't budged much.

 

I paid $300 for some 500GB Samsung EVOs, a year and a half ago. I recently paid $160 for the same drive.

A good 1TB SSD costs about as much as my GTX 970. I don't see 10TB being mainstream anytime soon...

 

I think he's speaking about new NVMe PCIe Samsung technology. Hardware will be fine in short period but don't know about price.

I paid $150 for a 500GB Evo, and $179 for a 500GB Pro,

 

One of the companies I work for is testing Samsung's Larger Enterprise Drives... Stupid fast.

 

Once 48-Layer NAND is in full swing, 10TB for a 2.5 Inch Drive, and 4 TB for a M.2 Micro
