Thermaltake power supply are not very good, cheap components, degradation over time...

Keep in mind, maybe you will have to spend money on a new one, later...

Ok ill think about it. I heard taht Be quiet should be good. Lets see what the next month will bring ;)

Be quiet? Don't know.

Seasonic are the best. They made the XFX brand, the Corsair AX series (not the 1200w).

Corsair AX are expensive, many peoples go for the other Corsair series.

EDIT: Hmm deleted post? Something wrong?

Yea still in for the 970

Thank you for the links!

Will get the first you mentioned next month

http://www.amazon.com/HX421C14FBK2-16-Arbeitsspeicher-2133MHz-compatible/dp/B00TY6A1LY/ref=sr_1_1?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1443351243&sr=1-1&keywords=ddr4+16gb

Just another question about the RAM and its Mhz.

I sadly cant affort the 3466mhz and i cant pay 300€ for 16gb lets say I wanna pay 120€ to get 2x8gb what mhz would you recommend? RAM could be added on a later state of course. Dont you think that 2x4 GB wouldnt do the job too?

whats about this one:

Such many questions...

Hi!

Yes, those RAM are good: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B013H7QYEI/...FPLZMYIC&psc=1

Or get the 2133Mhz. There are all good. Try to get the best for your money. You will see minimum difference between the 2666Mhz and the 2133Mhz.

"Dont you think that 2x4 GB wouldnt do the job too?" Yes for now but not sure about the future (the Nevada Map).

dont forget the law of chain links..... !

the weakest link is your strongest part.

why upgrade to ddr4 if the price for ddr4 voids a i7 and makes a slower i5 your choice ?

ddr4 is not the only chain link....

Youre right!

Actually im wondering:

the Intel Core I Skylake 7-6700/3.4 GHz costs 11€ more than the Intel CORE I5-6600K 3.50GHZ

Im really sry guys but which one of those is better??? For me the numbers are well just numbers I dont see any big differences. The K has something to say for sure :helpsmilie: Are they even DDR-4 Compatible? You see im a total noob. If I search in the web it shows just numbers and diagrams with more numbers...

So let me say I wanna pay 350€.

What do you recommend is the best thing to get in the ?better? I-7 series with the 1151 Socket? Just in performance and work with ddr4. I feel really bad about that but as I mentioned a few posts before I wanna get help from ppl who have much more knowledge than i have. But I really dont want, that you are doing the job that I should do - Searching. but i really dont get it. Its like Math for me :D

I'd say the I7, because Turbo 4Ghz, but i don't know if you need that.

I think the Motherboard has to be DDR4 compatible not the cpu, and watch out for the socks, if they're compatible (don't know if it's socks).

You should also look at a I7 4790K, but i don't know if it's better then the 6600K one, at least it's around 330Sfr for me, don't know how much in Euro.

but if you get DDR4 Ram and a cpu like those one, you should get a GTX 980, so you'll be ok for a longer time then with a GTX 970, but you decide.

Edit: Sorry, didn't know you already looked at it

Yea Curretnly I ordered the Mobo on the first page. DDR4 and A 1151 Socket.

Im going to do some more research on the CPUs u all mentioned. try to get deeper into this Stuff.

Thats the thing what drives me crazy. The newer CPU (depends on what youre choosing (I-5 6600K in this case)) has maybe less Power than an older one.

Getting an 970 - current 980 sadly not affordable

Griffon26,

not wanting to step on your toes BUT: are you sure you can put a new CPU and Mobo plus all that it needs together ? Have you done that before or have you at least been watching somebody doing it a few times ?

If, as I could read, you don't know about the existence, relevance and use & handling of Sockets for example can be a very disastrous thing to not know about !

I am building PC's and Servers myself, for customers and friends and have had more than a few students at my workshop, with very mixed results, some were 16 of age and put on together almost like it was native to do, some where twice as old, had 2 apprenticeships done before all the way but werent able to sort it out, I mean : hit the button and it boots, and if it doesnt, get into BIOS and DAMN FIX IT kinda thing.

If you are not such a guy, someone who knows Bios ( more than one Bios, you have to love Bioses and Menues ! ) etc.. than I would rather recommend you still check the parts BUT have it counterchecked by someone who knows about PC's very well and helps you putting it together.

It aint a shame, I need help for my car ! I build and fly helicopters too but hate actual real car work, and there I need help to net get stuck cause of tools, knowledge and wasted time & money if things break etc..

Usually a shop puts a PC together for 50-100 $/€, depending on the shop and how far you want it ready.

If you dare to do it yourself, which is the better way actually in the long run, you should at least watch some YT vids and check on CPU insertion into the socket, there is ZERO space for mistakes

with those sockets, 1 pin bent and the game is over, nada chance !!!

The rest is pretty easy if you read the manuals FIRST, watch YT if in question and THEN put things together.

I had to say this so you dont run into open knives Griffon26 ;)

Thank you BitMaster for your care! Of course you dont step too close to me.

I understand your worries about Putting components together I know that thats a real critical point.

To answer your question I did it 3 times with AMD CPUs and all work till now ;)

Im a doer not a theoretician :D That should mean that I can handle fragile things and put them together. In my Hobby Modelling for example I daily put smal fragile parts on much smaler one with a Lens and a tweezers. I know that making a fault while doing that could be (not that expensive as a new Mobo but...) for me personally a real disaster.

Im not perfect of course I make mistakes too.

My biggest weakness is that I dont get the differences between the various CPUs. I just dont get it. For me is it like: Y is the newer I7 weaker than an I5? Oh wait the I 5 has some strange numbers behind it... But those numbers what the hell do they try to tell me???

Ok I understand and know the differences between things like GHz, MHz, etc...

I hope you understand whats the point. Putting the stuff together isnt really a problem. The problem for me is to find the right stuff and thats the reason y I asked here in the forum.

The thing with the sockets: I know that most sockets arent compatible together so thats y i need an 1151 Skylake CPU.

I need to say that im going to ask a friend of me which looks into the BIOS. He has much more knowledge in that than me but also hes a theoretican - everything like me just in reverse ;)

Thank for your words Bit

EDIT: Got a nice thread from an other german website which actually let me figuring the numbers out slow and smooth I finally know what the K means :O :D

Danke für das Angebot ich werde mich bei Problemen bei dir Melden:D

(Thank you for the Offer! When it comes to problems I will contact you! :D)

Oh before I forget: Im going for the I7 Skylake 6700. Not the 6700K because I dont care about OC. The 980 TI will come next month so till that im going to play with my "old" 660 SC ;)

Thank you all again!
