DCS Hawk: Thoughts and update

I recorded a video regarding the Hawk T1 the other day going over what i like/dislike about the hawk and some information regarding the EFM and SFM as well as some other updates we have received in the September update.

I like the idea of Hawk a lot, it is an interesting aircraft to play with. Thanks for the effort and sharing.

Granted, it's been awhile since I've written it but didn't share it back then when the flame over the the issue over forums were just vaning and I didn't want to fuel it again, but now that it's touched again, well why not...

 

For TL;DR; version of it, I don't agree that cockpit textures were an issue, and after hasty reaction VEAO tried to take on those early criticism, they've actually botched it a bit, but it is still far from horrible. That said, I am eager to see new textures.

 

However, there are other issues I have touched on that people do not voice a lot about the module, yet I believe they are important. But since writing this piece, VEAO has commented muliple times about these issues and I still believe we will eventually have the Hawk it was meant to be :).

Thanks Stratos. Its the "Old Runway" texture mod but im not 100% who its made by, i found it on the forum under "must have mods" or something along those lines

i believe they will fix it and make it the plane i want it to be and i really wasnt going to make a video on the subject until i jumped back into it and felt the disappointment all over again.

 

I think with it being my first module that i owned i have a strange attachment to it so i want it to do well lol.
