nickleijenhorst Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 I was doing some low flying with a friend on the black sea map, and when we were flying over a river, you could clearly see the water being on a lower level than the land next to the river. It causes a parallax effect, where the land next to the river moved faster than the river itself! We did manage to crash without touching the water, as soon as you go below sea level. (but not touching the water yet) Seems like a fairly simply fix, by just moving the water level up about 10 meters, but I don't know the exact height. Keep up the great work guys, having a blast in 1.5
AUS_Twisted Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 It was always like that in the older versions (water lower then the land) for me anyway.
Aginor Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Yes. They say it has been partially fixed, but not fully. DCSW weapons cheat sheet speed cheat sheet
McBlemmen Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 It was always like that in the older versions (water lower then the land) for me anyway. Same here , old bug. Or.. maybe not a bug per se but definately not something introduced by 1.5
nickleijenhorst Posted October 2, 2015 Author Posted October 2, 2015 That's odd, I never had this problem with the old DCS. Or maybe its more pronounced now? Either way, I hope it can get fixed.
Art-J Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Before It was more or less apparent depending on water detail level. I'd guess that might be the case in 1.5 as well. i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10.
