BurnTheSource Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 Apologies, but I seem unable to generate a crash log. 1.5 has been periodically seizing up, usually either during the asset load when I enter a map/join a server, or a few minutes afterward. It does not appear to be exclusive to any one airframe. This occurs either on the ramp from a cold start, or if I start in the air, and is appearing in both SP and MP instances. The dcs.log only shows the loading of assets or, in the most recent failure, the action of playing sounds (the usual "SOUNDER: dofile" loop). On others the last line in the file references EDTERRAINGRAPHICS3: and are just INFO alerts. I've attached my dxdiag. I'm almost certain my drivers are up to date. DCS is, as well, fully patched.DxDiag.txt
baltic_dragon Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 (edited) I have the same problem, DCS stops responding and then CTDs, usually in the same moment of the mission when some intense fighting starts (quite often just after enemy is spawned and shooting begins, sometimes a few minutes after). Funny thing is that if I am not around (i.e. flying over the battlefield) nothing happens (I can watch everything in F7 view and call AI flights which destroy targets, no problems). However, as soon as I actually start hovering over the area, game crashes. Attaching my latest log and dxdiag file. I am also happy to send the mission for testing to one of the testers to see if they can replicate the problem - I don't want to post it here, as it is part of the upcoming DLC. *edit: just tested it with different mission, the same thing happened - as soon as shooting starts and radio transmission informing about it kicks in, DCS stops responding. Attaching second log file as well. Many thanks in advance for your help.dcs log.txtDxDiag.txtlog 2nd mission.txt Edited October 3, 2015 by baltic_dragon For more information, please visit my website. Dappman Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 (edited) I get this. I'm not good with computers as I've said before but through Google I've managed to find the "fault module" logs or whatever you call it for my crashes. Some ones that popped up: world.dll, avionics.dll, weather.dll, ZweiBlau.dll, AsyncNet.dll, dcs.exe, d3d9.dll and some others. I don't know if this will help or if its on my end, but there you go. Those are all seperate crashes with the module at fault. Edited October 4, 2015 by Dappman

Psyph3r Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 Game Crash As some of my friends have been experiencing constant crashes at game startup and not being able to join multiplayer, as well, I'll refer them to the above fix. I still need to test that. However, I've been crashing sporadically since last update. I'm usually flying and doesn't seem like it's anything specific and/or I have a hard time pinpointing it; therefore, my log's below.DxDiag.txtdcs.zip --=_Flying Since LOMAC_=--
