504 Wolverine Posted June 10, 2006 Posted June 10, 2006 Yes resetting trim is possible. Use the position of the stick and the indicator lights in front of it as a guide to reset trim (using the corresponding key commands). Just like in the real life Frogs neither the Su-25K nor the 25T have a majical trim reset button. Neither can they be trimmed by rotary, again just like IRL. [/url]
Ironhand Posted June 10, 2006 Posted June 10, 2006 Is it even possible? There is no key listed in keycommands for it. As already noted, to get back to neutral trim you have to manually trim until all the trim lights are green. If you want a "quick" (well, sort of quick) trim for your current speed, altitude, and weight press ALT-3. That is the autopilot function that returns you to level flight. Try it sometime from an inverted dive. It's also referred to as the "panic button" for putting disoriented pilots back into level flight--assuming of course there's enough altitude. ALT-9 disengages the autopilot.
