I will be mindful to watch for this issue when I am next in session, and if you are able to reproduce it with a shorter track please post it. Although your wings may look perforated it does not equal system failure or smoke for that matter, you know, no fire no smoke afer all. Damage model for A-10C is quite detailed. I would first compare actual system damage and not compare this visually. I will try to reproduce this. Its quite esy. Setup average Shilka and play with it by flying at the edge of its range so that it won't shoot you down that fast. It will engage and perforate your Hog but it won't be burning. When system is hit and destroyed it may burn. If there is fire, there is smoke. Simple as that really. Warthog_Farmer Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 I've also noticed that the damage modelling isn't synchronised between me and my friend. For example - when he dropped his gear and got 2 greens and asked me to have a look I said all down... But on his computer one was stuck fully up. This is the most notable but there have been many other occasions where we've noticed this type of issue.

I'm talking about the smoke trail that was visible for him and not for me. Yes, I had damage and my wing fuel valves failed. But not being able to see your own smoke is quite an issue. I reproduced damage in single player, me against Shilka. When I was hit first time there was visible damage bit systems were ok, second hit broke my TGP and next one caused severe visual damage and also smoke. It is repeatable. KansasCS Posted October 16, 2015 Author Posted October 16, 2015 I never disputed repeatability, just that I had no apparent damages save for the fuel pumps and a fuel tank leak that self sealed after a minute. The falconBMS style black smoke (which IMHO is a disgrace to modern graphical effects) was ever only visible to my wingman. I concur that it is a multiplayer issue. Gesendet von iPhone mit Tapatalk
