Cykyrios Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 Looking at your replay track, I can say the behavior of the heli is pretty normal. You are making very little use of pedals, and didn't seem to trim at all. In the Huey, when you add torque by pulling the collective, it will want to yaw right, so you need to counter that with some left pedal. While in flight, you will most often need to add some forward cyclic as well. Trim often to make your life easier and relax your hand. In this particular mission, you had a heavily loaded heli as well, which probably doesn't help if you're still struggling with basic control; you should have a look at the training missions and read a bit about helicopter aerodynamics, this will help you understand what you need to do to have better control.
gospadin Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 Agreed. Stable hover on the Huey with no wind involves back+left cyclic and left pedal input. (Mi-8 uses back+right cyclic and right pedal input.) My liveries, mods, and missions for DCS:World M-2000C English Cockpit | Extra Beacons Mod | Nav Kneeboard | Community A-4E
