Can't launch game. crash at launch

 

evening guys.

 

im running a working DCS 1.2 version

 

I installed a 1.5 version, standard location, and everything installs fine.

 

But when I launch one or the other shortcuts (single or multiplayer) the .exe crashes immediately..

 

 

whats going on ? is this a know problem ? what am I doing wrong ?

 

I downloaded all 7 files from the FTP russia, since all other FTP and HTTP would work..

 

any clue ?

it is jmy problem, but NONE of the fix works...

 

I have 500$ in this sofwtare, and not being able to run it, when ALL my other games work, is really really making me mad.

Hi FZG_Immel,

 

Do not use the multiplayer icon for 1.5 it is no longer used as everything is launched from the same .exe.

 

Please attach your zipped logs folder and a dxdiag, a guide to posting bugs / crashes can be found in my signature.

 

Below is the minimum and recommended requirements for 1.5

 

Minimum system requirements: OS 64-bit Windows 7/8/10; DirectX11; CPU: Core i3; RAM: 8 GB; Free hard disk space: 30 GB; Video: 2 GB RAM card, DirectX11 - compatible; requires internet activation.

 

Recommended system requirements: OS 64-bit Windows 7/8/10; DirectX11; CPU: Core i5+; RAM: 16GB; Hard disk space: 30 GB; Video: NVIDIA GeForce GTX780 / ATI R9 290 DirectX11 or better; Joystick; requires internet activation.

here is attached my dxdiag file. unfortunately, I have no log to provide, since no open beta log folder can be found in my system. My guess is that since the game never lanuch, the folder has never been created,

 

I hope this can help.

 

its very frsutrating to have so much invested in the game, and not being able to run it.

ps: the only thing I can see that is not up to date is my Win7 which is not Sp1....

 

Do you think this could play any role ? Id rather not go SP1 IF possible.

Just wanted to let every one know that installing/reinstalling SP1 for windows7 did the trick

There is still a stable release that should work just fine, so no reason getting all winded up about money.

1.5 is BETA and things like this should be expected. :)
