bmbpdk Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 (edited) Hi, everytime i get into a hover, both auto and manual, trimming the helicopter, and releasing the stick, i get a constant 5 degrees pitch up, wich means that im allways moving backwards despiste being in autohover and manual hover. i tried trimming for a -5 degrees pitch, to cancel out the +5 pitch, but it still goes into +5 pitch Any idea why? dburne Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 That is odd that you would be moving backwards, I have found the auto hover to pitch the chopper however needed to keep it stationary. Are you insuring your movement ( speed ) is as close to 0 as you can get prior to engaging auto hover? bmbpdk Posted November 2, 2015 Author Posted November 2, 2015 Yeah, im at 0kph when hitting the autohover button, even if i was moving 5kph forward, it still happends; pitching up to 15 - 20 degrees, falling down to +5 The stick movement window, right ctrl + enter, shows that my stick, thrustmaster hotas warthog, is centered Inno3d RTX 2070 Twin X2, ASUS STRIX Z270E Gaming, Intel i7 7700K, 32GB Corsair vengeance, Kingston Hyper X FPS Alloy Cherry MX Red, Logitech G102 Prodigy, Track Ir 5, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS, Saitek Combat Rudder pedals, Beyer Dynamic DT770, Acer CB280HK 4K monitor, Win 10 Pro 64bit

bmbpdk Posted November 2, 2015 Author Posted November 2, 2015 Try to hold it level, engage auto hover and press trim, maybe that helps Did not help... Took a video of my problem: Its like something is not calibrated, but calibrated my joystick a few hours ago Inno3d RTX 2070 Twin X2, ASUS STRIX Z270E Gaming, Intel i7 7700K, 32GB Corsair vengeance, Kingston Hyper X FPS Alloy Cherry MX Red, Logitech G102 Prodigy, Track Ir 5, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS, Saitek Combat Rudder pedals, Beyer Dynamic DT770, Acer CB280HK 4K monitor, Win 10 Pro 64bit
dburne Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 (edited) That is odd, I noticed looking at your axis display, when you engage auto hover it seems to set your axis back to 0, almost like what happens when you cancel out any trim. When I engage auto-over, when looking at that same axis display, it reflects my y axis as having moved forward somewhat to compensate. I also noticed you engage altitude hold prior to engaging auto hover, try not having altitude hold channel engaged when you initiate auto-over ( it will engage the altitude hold channel). Not sure that would really make a difference but may be worth trying. You may want to check and makes sure you don't have trimmer reset maybe assigned to the same button as auto-hover. Edit: I also notice in the key commands, hover hold is Lalt+t, and trimmer reset is Lctrl+t... bmbpdk Posted November 2, 2015 Author Posted November 2, 2015 yeah, its like it wont lock my trim. Tried the other things but nothing works. Im gonna uninstall everything DCS related and start all over, to see if that would solve anything Anyway, thanks for your help and time :-) Inno3d RTX 2070 Twin X2, ASUS STRIX Z270E Gaming, Intel i7 7700K, 32GB Corsair vengeance, Kingston Hyper X FPS Alloy Cherry MX Red, Logitech G102 Prodigy, Track Ir 5, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS, Saitek Combat Rudder pedals, Beyer Dynamic DT770, Acer CB280HK 4K monitor, Win 10 Pro 64bit

dburne Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Is this the new sound of the BS in World 1.5? sounds a bit grindy... No , not at all. Although personally I think in 1.5 it lost a little of the "oomph" sound of the rotors versus 1.2, but still sounds pretty darn good.
