Pindol Posted November 4, 2015 Author Posted November 4, 2015 but my point is how to set these waypoints on the map and having them fly NDB I can not set up where each wants
gospadin Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 but my point is how to set these waypoints on the map and having them fly NDB I can not set up where each wants The L-39C has no inertial navigation system, as such, you must perform all navigation using beacons that already exist on the map. You can see all beacons in the mission editor, or else use Lino's beacon map: http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/588673/ or his beacon list: http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/585582/ My liveries, mods, and missions for DCS:World M-2000C English Cockpit | Extra Beacons Mod | Nav Kneeboard | Community A-4E
Tarres Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 You can use RSBN-5S in manual mode. http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2518544&postcount=9 Regards.
Justin Case Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 Fly visually using the F10 map as a reference, it's most enjoyable if you disable you own position on the map in game settings. http://www.masterarms.se A Swedish Combat Flight Simulator Community.

Johnny Dioxin Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 Didn't ED say the beacons aren't working in the open alpha? So to use beacons for nav, you'd have to use 1.5 Rig: Asus TUF GAMING B650-PLUS; Ryzen 7800X3D ; 64GB DDR5 5600; RTX 4080; VPC T50 CM2 HOTAS; Pimax Crystal Light I'm learning to fly - but I ain't got wings With my head in VR - it's the next best thing!
gospadin Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 Didn't ED say the beacons aren't working in the open alpha? So to use beacons for nav, you'd have to use 1.5 The beacons work just fine in open alpha. The issue is that they're modern beacons (VORTAC) which the L-39C cannot receive. There's only 1 NDB ("Mercury" at 326 kHz, a bit West of Indian Springs) in the NTTR area that can be picked up by the L-39C's navigation equipment. Tarres Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 Gospadin , have you tried the Huey? I think the "VOR reversed LOS" bug is still present. VORTAC and TACAN work perfect.

Raphy Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 Please help !! No there are many pages (and you can actually include custom pages). To browse the kneeboard you have to bind a key for "Kneeboard next / previous page" if I recall correctly
