[RESOLVED]Update to 1.5.1 just went south.

Just freaked out about a 1/4 of a way into the update.

Got this now.. I did a uninstall and reinstall then a repair .. Now i get this . And the updater can not find the new update 1.5.1?????

Same here as OP - was doing fine - updated the updater then got errors such as:

 

ERROR: Failed to download Bazar/Terrain/vfstextures/LandTexturesSpringOther.zip

ERROR: HTTPS failed with curl error (51): SSL peer certificate or SSH remote key was not OK

Had a few of those, with fairly large amounts of data passing successfully in between, then finally the old server capacity palm-off (only joking):

Never had issues before - normally updates at around 9+MB/s and doesn't take long.

 

Due to the amount of people with these errors, there must be something amiss.

 

PS - I was able to just continue flying with the old version without any further action

Sorted this.

 

I just ran the updater from the Windows menu and it worked.

 

It did go at about 1/4 of the normal speed (1.9Mb/s instead of 9.1) but it worked.

 

Before I ran the updater, I remembered to deactivate the A-10C instrument export mod - which is the only one I'm using in the beta - but whether this was the culprit or not...

 

Oh and got the MiG-21 deactivation, too, so now I'm off to find how to fix that.

Got mine fixed!!!!

 

I uninstall from Control panel.

 

Then I deleted DCS Open beta folder in saved games.

 

Then I reinstalled in a new folder . And now I have 1.5.1

I am going to try this. Nothing else has worked for me so far to get it running.

I had to re-activate Mig-21Bis module.. other than that, don't forget to save your Input folder and the missions you created before wiping it out.
