fitness88 Posted November 8, 2015 Posted November 8, 2015 (edited) Has anyone else noticed that no matter where you look up from inside your cockpit [N/S/E/W]...the sun is always in the direction you're looking? Can someone please explain if there is a way to have this corrected. I fly the Mig 29s. Thank you. Edited November 8, 2015 by fitness88

Weta43 Posted November 9, 2015 Posted November 9, 2015 As you can see, the sun isn't overhead in this shot. If the sun is overhead when you look up, it's mid-day... You can change the time in the briefing section of the ME Cheers.

fitness88 Posted November 9, 2015 Author Posted November 9, 2015 Thank you all. I fly at 12:00 so perhaps it's the high noon affect. I'll try and see what happens at other times.
fitness88 Posted November 12, 2015 Author Posted November 12, 2015 Yes it was a high noon affect, doesn't happen at other hours. Thanks again.
Sweep Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 (edited) I've been having this issue while zoomed out (and not when the sun is directly above me), I'll see about editing this post with a track (and screenshots) in a minute... EDIT, And here we are...I think this might just be the effects of FOV, but who knows...also I'm testing this in the F-15, but I am able to test in some other aircraft if needed. Screenshots: http://imgur.com/a/SIDhM Notes: both tracks were recorded on in-game 1 August, track 1 is 0900 local, track 2 is 1500.
