The way we have to save and manage control profiles between three different installs is becoming a friggin' nightmare.

Can't we get a decent control profile manager that can save to/upload/download by aircraft/game version with just a couple of clicks instead of the mess we have to go through now?

Would be so nice to just go in there and select your aircraft, hit load, and have only 1 file to select and edit instead of a separate one for each controller I am using.

Also give me the ability to label controllers in there. With my CH stuff it is control manager device whatever which don't correspond to anything so I have to sort that out all the time and they aren't the same between game versions.

Right now I am only using 7 aircraft, but that makes 84 different .lua files to manage across those 3 installs, that's just ridiculous.

There also needs to be some way to see what is compatible between versions and have it fix those so they are- if you understand. Example: Manual mapping controls for the A-10c three times because of there being 3 versions is just stupid, something should be made to do that for us. Should have only to do it once, push a button and it does all three and gives a note if there are any problems and what to fix.

Just has to be a better way.

AFAIK the biggest problem was between 1.2 and 1.5.

Even if it is not "comme il faux", I copied my input folder in "Saved Games" from 1.5 to 2.0.

That worked fine.

How often is this sort of upgrade of the game going to happen in the future? IMHO not a lot. This would have been nice to have now but is pretty much a pointless request at this point.
