OK, I found some instructions. I still have a question though....what about running a different module in DCS? In other words, if I get it working to have my A-10C MFD's on another monitor, what happens if fly say the F-86 or UH-1?

nothing will happened - there are no MFDs on F-86 or UH-1 it will stay dark, you can use second monitor to put kneeboard there

If you have nothing the game considers a left or right mfd on the aircraft you are flying it will just be black. But if you are in su27 for example the hdd will be considered a right mfd so will show wherever you set the right mfd.

there used to be an excelent program for that UltraMFCD, it handled these screens like it should be handled in the base game. unfortunatly it doesnt work in 1.5/2.0 because of legal issues.

It should be great for those, like me, whith a secondary monitor which is not as good as the main one (1280x1024 and not 1920x1080)

This is the thread I found. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=60815

Seems confusing but maybe it will make more sense once I get into trying to actually do it.

What kind of frame rate hit does having a second monitor running cause?

Strangely enough, yesterday I also decided to take an old monitor out of retirement and fit both MFCDS on it. I still need to try though because I can't find a VGA cable around the house.

I'm also curious about performance hits, especially since windowed mode is required for it to work.

In 1.5 I'm not noticing any fps drop because of it, I'm running at around 60 most of the time. But in 1.2 i did not use it as it dropped the fps below 30. With that said i did upgrade my cpu from a i7 930 to a 4790k in the time between using it in 1.2 and 1.5 and i have to use a ridiculous resolution because of how my monitors are setup, i think it is something like 6400x2520.
