GurbY Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 I was flying from Nellis via Amargosa Valley to Creech. When I reached Amargosa, I switched to steerpoint Creech (DMSup) and the tadpole showed a fly-to direction of 240.... Too late to make a screenshot, but will try to recreate it. After moving to the right (instead of to the left, as the tadpole suggested), in a few seconds it moved to 60 (and counting down after that).
Yurgon Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 I've often observed that behavior in all versions of A-10C as far as I can recall. I'm not sure whether it's a bug or mimics some strange real life behavior, though. I basically ignore the steerpoint indication for the first couple of seconds after switching steerpoints and watch the HSI, the TAD, or use common sense, instead.
