"ИНТЕРВАЛ" (interval) button. Pressing this button cycles between the timedelay between flare release settings. The delay is in seconds and is equal to the displayed number except for the cases of 7, 9 and 0, for which the intervals are 0.25, 0.5 and 0.125 seconds respectively. [RALT + INSERT]

Exactly what I witnessed in your track (except for those sequences that you stopped before they even went into the second release).

Read the rest of the UV26 manual please

this is for 1.5 and it doesn't work that way in non beta.

in a 732 interval in 1.5 will eject 3 flares at the same time, without any pause between the ejections, then it will wait 2 seconds then shoot another 3 flares at the same time.

It changed with 1.5, yes. But iirc, the only difference is now that the flares of one sequence are released at once where they previously were released subsequently. But (iirc) you never could influence _that_ timing either. You could and can only set the pause between two sequences.

Imho the new behaviour makes sense. And I like it. :o) Previously you would just spread tons of tiny flares all around the helo. Now you can fire "big" flares (i.e. tight cluster of flares) - which might be more helpful.

Would you be so kind and point out for me how this deviates from what is written in the manual? I see 0 contradiction between what you describe and what the manual says, regarding the entire chapter on the UV-26 system.

Wow. First time I watch this video. Thanks.

I would hate to re open the wound of the 'air/air missiles' controversy, but what on earth are those twin tubes mounted beside the rockets in this video? It really looks like Iglas to me but I can be wrong.

Interesting video indeed, I hadn't seen it before either. Thx for posting!

Regarding the missiles, they look like standard Vikhr tubes to me, but obviously just 2 per side instead of the 6 we usually carry in DCS. But I could be wrong as well. ;)
