TomOnSteam Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 I'd love to hear any F-14 news, but especially about the LANTIRN :) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Cockpit Spectator Mode
Tirak Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 No news, and i wouldn't expect any news for a while. Cobra is so far behind on the Viggen and Corsair announcements, there's not much chance for any F-14 updates for a long time.
Cobra847 Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 We have not begun creating the weapons systems for either -A or -B Tomcats yet. We're currently revamping our generic weapons stations template structure to be more dynamic in preparation for 2016 and 2017 titles. Base work for weapon stations and AWG-9 will begin in the next few months. Nicholas Dackard Founder & Lead Artist Heatblur Simulations https://www.facebook.com/heatblur/

Would it be possible to make the Phoenix pylons loadable separate from the Phoenix itself? (and perhaps the same for the wing-glove pylons?) When Tomcats operated from Ship, they typically would leave the pylons in place unloaded (the same for the 280 gallon fuel tanks - leaving them in place even if unloaded for that particular flight): On shore, this was less of an issue, I suppose because there was more space and time to deal with removing pylons and tanks. Anyway, just a thought. It seems like it would be a nice feature so users can configure the Tomcat just the way it is depicted in pictures. Thanks for listening. :) -Nick
