SDsc0rch Posted December 19, 2015 Posted December 19, 2015 maybe they're "allowed to" but nobody is planning it and it was my impression that ED was planning on upgrading all of the fc3 aircraft up to the DCS standard.. i7-4790K | Asus Sabertooth Z97 MkI | 16Gb DDR3 | EVGA GTX 980 | TM Warthog | MFG Crosswind | Panasonic TC-58AX800U [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
cichlidfan Posted December 19, 2015 Posted December 19, 2015 As I said, in another similar thread, the problem with making an FC level aircraft is that, at least currently, it seems that an SFM is no longer considered satisfactory. Even without the ASM the advanced flight model development time makes for a much more expensive product to produce and it might take just as long as the development of a full 'DCS level' aircraft.
