CMSC - OTR1 What is it?

Hi Guys,

 

just went through on the CMS training mission, and unless I missed it out, I didn't find a clue about what is OTR1 on the CMSC panel, right of CHF and FLR. Anyone?

This is a good question. I haven't found an answer to this. Maybe a third kind of expendable?

 

I thought that it is called CMSP and the CMSC panel is on the front console below the HUD. Or does the OTR1 also show up on that too?:book:

CMSC - OTR1 What is it?

 

I read that it means "other 1" (or "other 2" if additional switch is used in another aircraft?). For future expansion or for other aircraft with payload bays that can accept other CM system types.

 

I can try to find the reference for that and link it here if you like. It seemed like a reasonable description.
