winchesterdelta1 Posted August 5, 2016 Posted August 5, 2016 BUMP.. it's still not fixed. But i have a feeling with the latest patch (not from today) it does occur a little bit later. But that can just be placebo effect cause i know network performance overall has been improved drastically. Thx for that by the way. Go in close, and when you think you are too close, go in closer.
winchesterdelta1 Posted August 5, 2016 Posted August 5, 2016 (edited) Also.. If i survive 5 flights just land and refuel and go again it won't happen. Even after 4 hours of flight with no re-spawns (Yes first time ever i survived this long :) ). Only after some re-spawns. I should count it. If i survive for the entire game it will not occur. So i think we can see with great certainty there are some key variables. 1. Amount of players 2. Amount of re-spawns 3. Amount of time. 4. Happens with low end and high end systems. RAM is not the culprit. 5. Only way to fix it is to restart the game. If you log out and back in TWS bug is back instantly. JazonXD Posted August 5, 2016 Posted August 5, 2016 This problem has been with me since 1.5, but for me, it happens only after DCS has been running for a while. It only happens in multiplayer it seems and doesn't matter if I was only playing singleplayer or only multiplayer, after a while of playing DCS, the TWS will start lagging on multiplayer. It's almost like a memory leak, except when I alt tab out, the RAM usage is normal... JazonXD Posted October 18, 2016 Posted October 18, 2016 (edited) Recently in the DCS 2.0 update notes, they wrote that the "fixed FPS drop when using RADAR" under "DCS World" and not any module in particular. So maybe we can pray and hope that a fix has been implemented and we're waiting for them to update 1.5 as well...? Svend_Dellepude Posted October 18, 2016 Posted October 18, 2016 That was AFAIK a different bug that occured as soon as you turned the radar on. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Win10 64, Asus Maximus VIII Formula, i5 6600K, Geforce 980 GTX Ti, 32 GB Ram, Samsung EVO SSD.
winchesterdelta1 Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 It seems that the TWS bug has been resolved... The bug didn't occur for me at all since the last 3 or 4 patches. Thank god for that. Just wanted to say thank you cause this was one of the most annoying bugs. Go in close, and when you think you are too close, go in closer.
