lancer Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 I have a question to the trim of the Aero L-39C. How do I fly consistently on a level with help of the Trimmrudder? The trim is consequently rear-heavy. No reaction on the trim inputs. Any ideas? I hope so. with best regards lancer
Goblin Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 Did you map any buttons, a hat switch perhaps, to the trim commands? I mapped my POV hat switch as a trim switch, and it works just fine...
Spetz Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Trim works fine for me on my Warthog. You need constant trimming as it is never 100% straight and level, but only a flick or two.
lancer Posted January 3, 2016 Author Posted January 3, 2016 Hi Spetz, I use the second POV of my Saitek X-52 for the trim. In all other modules it functions flawlessly. The trim level indicator in the lower Dashboard indicates the correct values, nevertheless, the aircraft is rear-heavy. The problem is which becomes rear-heavy with every movement of the stick. with best regards
Spetz Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 (edited) Well, if the trim indicator is working on the dash, then I suspect it is working and you just need more trim. I have trim with almost every stick movement to keep it where I like. Thats the only thing I can suggest unless you delete you config files and let them build from new again and redo. Or your x-52 is dying and it has creep in the sensors.. Edited January 3, 2016 by Spetz

Front cockpit has longitudinal indicator and neutral lateral position light, aft cockpit has two lights for neutral positions. ■ L-39C/ZA Czech cockpit mod ■ My DCS skins ■
