Mission Editor- how to add a wingman for Single Player

Recommended Posts

Ive done a lot of searches here on the forums, plus general Google searches and checked the manuals...

Can't find the specific steps to add an AI wingman in a Single Player mission.

If someone can point me in the right direction, I'd greatly appreciate it!

Thanks in advance,

Mike

Click on your plane, in the right panel, below the Task you'll see Unit <> 1 of <> 1. Click on the right arrow to increase the number of planes in your group. The second plane in the group is your wingman. :)

Thank you!

I had done that part, but thought there MUST be a drop down or command to setup the other aircraft to take the wingman role. I poked around for a while but didn't try the mission. I figured I was missing some steps

Thanks again!

As a general note, if you want your wingman to have exactly the same config as you (the same skin, loadout etc) first configure no.1 plane and only then add further ones. Saves a lot of time.

Thank you!

That's a great tip. I'm just now starting to get into the ME. Everywhere I look there is MUCH to learn... that's part of the fun
