[never planned for Caucasus map] Colidable trees in 1.5

Just flew through a forest with the Kamov in caucasus  I thought trees were supposed to be colidable in EDGE (1.5)? this ruins the gameplay big time for chopper players... will it be implemented for caucasus?

Incorrect. Colidable trees are part of the new terrain and EDGE. We have them in NTTR

Caucasus Is currently being adapted to work with EDGE but no word if trees will be colidable, I imagine it will depend on how well the old map works with EDGE and what the FPS impact will be.

Thx for the reply man! I thought they mentioned that all terrains would have collidable trees in EDGE... Was really looking forward to hiding with the Kamov on the tree line! Really hope we get it soon in caucasus!

What does that excatly entail?

Is it just being converted to work?

Or is it being upgraded with better terrain data and textures? I would very much hope so.

I'm sure Wags commented on this on one of the earlier Edge video Q&As. I can't for the life of me remember exactly what he said, but I believe they were looking into collideable trees in the Caucasus.

Might be worth your while going through them for some concrete information.
