ofsVegas Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 When DCS 2 first came out everything worked as designed, but with the past update that was installed when I loaded the game the ramp/runway texture is gone, as well as the jet overhangs when I am close to them. The runway texture is gone at McCarron as well, and when I fly near the casinos they are visible from a distance, but when I am about 1/4 mile from each casino they glitch out and disappear (but are still there which I found out by flying into one) so the colliders still recognize them as there. Is anyone else experiencing things like this? Does DCS still have a tool to run to check for corrupt files? Devrim Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 Your computer is very nice. So, I suggest you to perform a "Repair" (Start Menu > Repair). shagrat Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 Had the same. If repair option does not fix the corrupt files, try deinstalling and reinstalling Nevada through the Modul Manager, that fixed it for me. ofsVegas Posted January 13, 2016 Author Posted January 13, 2016 (edited) Thank you both for your replies. I tried the repair option with no luck, so will now try a reinstall. edit: I tried removing the module in Module Manager, which opens DCS Updater very briefly. It says cleaning up, then closes along with DCS. When I start DCS again the module is still available and installed. I have attempted to remove Nevada a few times with the same result. Deezle Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 You need to run the install Nevada command prompt. This WILL fix it, but it's another 3gb download. http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2574663&postcount=8 1 Intel 9600K@4.7GHz, Asus Z390, 64GB DDR4, EVGA RTX 3070, Custom Water Cooling, 970 EVO 1TB NVMe 34" UltraWide 3440x1440 Curved Monitor, 21" Touch Screen MFD monitor, TIR5 My Pit Build, Moza AB9 FFB w/WH Grip, TMWH Throttle, MFG Crosswinds W/Combat Pedals/Damper, Custom A-10C panels, Custom Helo Collective, SimShaker with Transducer

That is strange! The deinstall should actually remove the files... Glad you could fix it with the command line, though. SkateZilla Posted January 14, 2016 Posted January 14, 2016 This is usually due to NTTR Module ID not showing under installed modules list when the updater runs, there fore it does not update the NTTR Files. running the dcs_updater.exe install NEVADA_terrain command will fix the issue. I dunno what causes the NTTR module ID to not show up in the autoupdate list, possibly incomplete install or a result of using an unofficial torrent for NTTT Files. please post autoupdate.logs Windows 10 Pro, Ryzen 2700X @ 4.6Ghz, 32GB DDR4-3200 GSkill (F4-3200C16D-16GTZR x2), ASRock X470 Taichi Ultimate, XFX RX6800XT Merc 310 (RX-68XTALFD9) 3x ASUS VS248HP + Oculus HMD, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS + MFDs

Like I had said previously, DCS2 worked flawlessly initially and it wasn't until an update was applied through DCS Updater that I began having issues.
