Infantry invisible on FLIR

Yesterday I tried the easy instant action mission for the A-10C in order to retain my currency in the Warthog, and I noticed it is impossible to spot infantry in 1.5.2 at the second waypoint using the TGP.

EDIT: Same with other planes' FLIRs which is why I posted here and not in the A-10C forums section.

EDIT2: At least in the A-10C you can turn up the contrast, which makes it a bit better.

 

Same with vehicles, but not as bad.

The reason is the noise in the grass textures. They look great but not in the FLIR.

For awhile, we couldn't use normal soap to wash them with because it would kill the IR camo properities. But, that's all changed now because it was a pain in the ass. So, now we just wash them however we want. IR camo or not! ;)

Hm, in this case ED would have to seperate modern equipment from 90's years insurgent stuff. Not easy to make all people happy :smartass:
