Theskyline35 Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 (edited) Hi I added a SSD to my PC and moved Windows on it. Since then, impossible to activate module or even fly, every single launch the game ask me to activate the Mig-21, I do, then an error happen. I have only the Mig-21 pop-up, but all my other module which aren't on Steam (Mig so and my Mirage, for the P-51 or A-10, they are bought from steam and work well) don't work, If I try to fly them, I will be stuck on the map view ! What to I do ? I don't want to have to unistall everything then install everything, my connection is pretty bad :helpsmilie: Strangely, my DSC Steam version work very well, but I only have few modules on it  I already tried this : http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=94531 Didn't worked Thanks Edited January 15, 2016 by Theskyline35 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] My Youtube Channel Ryzen 2600 -- GTX980 4Go -- 16Go RAM 3200Mhz -- TM Warthog + Rudder Pedals -- HomeMade trackIR
ED Team BIGNEWY Posted January 15, 2016 ED Team Posted January 15, 2016 http://en.wiki.eagle.ru/wiki/Problem_with_Activation delete the registry key for that module and then reactivate edit, you tried that, should have read it better Forum rules - DCS Crashing? ED Team BIGNEWY Posted January 15, 2016 ED Team Posted January 15, 2016 are you using the latest version 1.5.2 ? Forum rules - DCS Crashing? Theskyline35 Posted January 15, 2016 Author Posted January 15, 2016 are you using the latest version 1.5.2 ? Yes And even more issues here, I was suppose to have the update 1.5.2, but when I clicked "proceed" immediatly after the launcher said I was updated to the latest version (without having downloaded anything). And the Mirage 2000 is now working, but not the Mig-21. But it's clear that I'm not running the last version, nothing change, the Mirage still has is bug that was supposed to be fixed with this update, which isn't the case. I think the SSD and migration of windows totally broke DCS... [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] My Youtube Channel Ryzen 2600 -- GTX980 4Go -- 16Go RAM 3200Mhz -- TM Warthog + Rudder Pedals -- HomeMade trackIR
ED Team BIGNEWY Posted January 16, 2016 ED Team Posted January 16, 2016 Yes it would have been best to deactivate al of the modules before the migration. Please attach your autoupdate_log.txt from the main install it will give us some more clues, also your whole logs folder zipped from your saved games folder. thanks Forum rules - DCS Crashing? Theskyline35 Posted January 16, 2016 Author Posted January 16, 2016 Thanks to token41 from reddit, I'm back in the Mig21 and all the other work as well ! As he said, I had to delete the "key" folder registery in "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/LeatherneckSimulations/DCS Mig-21bis", then launch the standalone software, in "....\DCS World\Mods\aircraft\MIG-21bis\bin-t4\x86_64", it's named "pcnsl". I entered my key and "tadada !" the Mig is back ! Thanks for having helped me !
