  1. Also consider the TACAN and the MISS dials not working. It's very annoying as the TACAN morse code cannot be shut-off while the Missiles tone cannot be turned on in cold and dark. Best luck for the work on the Mirage !
  2. Hi guys ! I would like a little help on something : I want to access an Integer value (for speed for instance) whenever I want, without using the callback function. So, how can I get the output of a Integer value (from a IntegerBuffer) without using the callback function ? For instance, the "classic" way to get the speed is this : DcsBios::IntegerBuffer tasIndBuffer(0x2268, 0xffff, 0, onTasIndChange); The issue is that I need to use that "onTasIndChange" function top get the speed. How can I read the output without using that function ? EDIT ---------- Found it thanks to the Discord channel (thanks Kayou !!)   4. I'm also running at 2fps, then back to the main menu. Sometmes the landscape load after few minutes, sometimes everything load. But today nothing worked, tried multiple servers and wasn't able to join them.
  5. Issue resolved with Ciribob ! Uninstalling SRS, changing the installation folder and everything work fine again....black magic !
  6. I don't have MSI afterburner. Just Geforce experience. And I don't get an error, there is just nothing, the application is in the windows bar, but it is just empty, nothing is displayed like it doesn't exist
  7. Arg I finally made the update few months after my last use and it simply doesn't work :/ I launch SRS, the app appear in the windows bar but nothing is displayed, nothing happen. My NET framerwork are updated (4.7...) I don't get it, tried to run it as admin etc, nothing Any idea ? This addon is so much important, it changes the way multiplayer works, I flying on WW2 server and beeing alone is....not the best idea ! Keep the hard work !

  11. 1. Do you even fly the Mig ? Checking our six is a pain, an absolute pain, I'm always checking my six, but you forget to check for 5s and it's too late. Tiger have a better rear visibility (but still not amazing) but also got a way cleaner canopy and way better general visbility. The problem is that the server shouldn't not be an "ambush simulator. Also as I said awac are super often down for the RED. 2. Then why making the battle area over a city if we know it will run terrible after an hour ? In the mountain I can enjoy a solid 50-60fps, but over the city...oh god 3. AWACS always dead, zoom don't help a lot looking for a pixel. 4 .... mmmh And you didn't get my main issue with the mission : a "stupid" airquake with mountains and a single battle spot is bad, it's not fun, we barely fight, it's not realistic... While we could make something so much better

I created a discussion over r/hoggit about the server, here is what I wrote, fiving feedback after flying on the server many times in the Mig-21 : Don't take these "criticizes" too personally, this server is popular and so I really wish we had a mission that really fit the potential of these modules, and not this stupid airquake. I highly recommand you looking at the comments to have the feedback from many people out there :
  13. Hi guys ! Here I am, this took me a lot of effort to make it dynamic and to tell a little story. Filming a dogfight and making it short and interesting is WAY harder than I expected especially when you can only deal with the IA :smilewink: , and didn't had the time to make it as good as I could have imagine. But the result is pretty good I think, hope you enjoy it :)

Yeah Of course the Spitfire in Dogfight at low altitude, however when Normandy will came out, with AI Bomber to escort, flying high, then the P-51 with is much better autonomy will be very interesting to flight. Also the P51 is way better for ground attack ! Sadly multiplayer server in DCS are far from reality, with 1 vs 2 planes, sometimes 1 vs 1, low altitude, no target or things to escort, pure deathmatch. In reality, a lot of the battle over the Normandy were taking place with +30 planes, not a poor 1 vs 1, but more like 30 vs 40, and flying way higher, around 10.000ft, and +20.000ft for bomber escort. So the things may change with the Normandy map in few months, especially if servers stop doing these 'stupid' air quakes and go for me realism.
  15. Yeah the engine is easy to break, after multiple issue I always stay at 2800rpm and +12/+16 boost, and when I need power I do a little push 3000rpm full boost for few seconds and then came back to my "combat safe engine mode" to not break it. Advices concerning this would be nice
  16. Merci Baloo Well, after my first engagement yesterday in the Spitfire against the 109 I have to say it's pretty cool, miles away better than the P51 for dogfight ! The engine power isn't has good as the diving speed, however the Spitfire turn very nicely and the canons are really what we needed to fight the germans fighters. Concerning what P.Closterman said about the Spit IX, I think it's pretty true considering the RAF wasn't using anymore the IX against the last gen Luftwaffe aircraft knowing they couldn't match them, that's why last gen Spitfire and Tempest V exist ! :huh:
  17. Put brakes on an analogue input, on the little slider on the throttle of the X52 it's way better, still hard, but with 20% brakes you can taxi without massive issues
  18. Drop tank were needed especially for crossing the Channel without beeing low in fuel during dogfight. And bombs were used by the Spitfire in 1943 to attack V1 launch site on the Normandy and the Spitfire IX in late 44 was used for bombing whereas recent Spitfire were used to fight the Luftwaffe. I hope we will have this stuff
  19. Yeah read it, It's really entertaining ! I will make videos on this Spitfire, but don't expect real talented piloting ^^ You are the type of people I hate in the sky :thumbup: Because when I will engage the fight I will quickly discover you are a way better pilot and saying to me "What have you done, here you are, engaging a fight against a experienced pilot, you will try to follow him, you bleed you energy, he will catch your six and in few seconds, bam, you are out" :P Concerning what said Tdaffy, you are right, dogfight then and now in simulator are way different, real dogfight were very short, when 30 vs 30 planes were fighting, you chose a target, try to hit him and if you fail change target. In DCS, well, it's very commun to have asymetric fight with 2 vs 4 planes, and then in few seconds you would have 4 planes on your tail, running for the deck. Also in reality fight sweep had objective, in DCS you go for the fight and the kill as you said.
