Sound file not playing in Multiplayer

I've added sound files to missions which are triggered and working fine in single player. When the mission is run in multiplayer, the sound files will not play. After running the mission I've gone into the mission editor and attempted to play the sound file without success. The only way to get the sound file to play is by deleting the ACTION-SOUND TO ALL and recreating it.

 

Is this a bug or am I doing something incorrectly. The sound file is in .ogg format.

 

UPDATE: It turns out that not all of the sound files are being saved in the mission.

Hi, same issue here.

 

Loaded an ogg sound file in a mission two days before and it worked in singleplayer and multiplayer.

 

Now, I deleted the old file and trigger, set a new one with a new ogg file and didn't hear it in singleplayer and multiplayer.

 

I use the radio transmission action on 135.100 FM with 100 W at Nellis AGB, while on the ramp. The Zone is large enough, IMO. If I play the ogg file in the ME, it works as well.

 

Any ideas?

sound issues I know:

 

1) never use accent in sound names. prefers ogg files. probably why ogg files don't play or save inside the miz file

2) trigger "sound to group" or "sound to coalition" works for me both in single player and multi

3) open the mizfile with winrar and have a look if all ogg files are inside.

 

For radio emetting

1) take care about AM FM choice

2) the only way to make a radio emmiting working for all and not only host, in multi for me is that way :

make a loop with flag 1 and 2 emetting and reset radio.

 

once time more 1s then flag on(1) flag off (2 )

 

SWITCHED Condition : "time since flag" 1 more than 20s & "time more" 2s then flag of (1) flag on (2) + Stop radio transmission "radio1"

 

SWITCHED Condition : if flag 2 on & "time more" 2s then flag of (2) flag on (1)

 

SWITCHED Condition : if flag 1 on & "time more" 3s then radio transmission / AM zone .... ( radio 1)

 

(don't use the loop fonction in radio transmission)

here is your mission working. in single and multi. (It's AM not FM) if your sound file is cutted before end then adjust the "time since flag" before reset
