ex81 Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 Hi, I`m almost new to DCS World and this happend yesterday: I created a easy mission just to start up , fly a few waypoints and then land. After sving the mission I thought would be nice to have some trucks moving around. I opend the mission again and addit some vehicles, and then saved it. But when I open this mission again, everything is gone except the trucks. Upps ??????????????? What can I do to avoid this Happening again ? regards What goes up, must come down ! kontiuka Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 What version of DCS is this? Release? Beta? Alpha? Are you sure you didn't accidentally delete your aircraft and flight plan?
ex81 Posted January 26, 2016 Author Posted January 26, 2016 It`s version 1.5 and the only reason I see, maybe I did overwrite everything when saving after adding the trucks. Who knows ? kontiuka Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 Maybe. Try again with another simple mission I guess.
Chicki Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 A trick I picked up from watching Ranger79's vids is when tweaking a mission always use "save as" and change the mission name slightly. I use "mission name_A" or "mission name_I, mission name_II", etc. That way, if something goes wonky, you can go back to the previous mission and try again. An invaluable tip in my opinion. The ME can do strange things sometimes. Just my 2 cents. It has helped me.

When you starts dking triggers, some doesn t work as expected, i use at least 3 or 4 versions.just to ensure not to start again.
Slazi Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 I think there's an issue with the editor. If you exit to the front end while editing a mission, then go back into the editor, the previous misson will appear open, but it really isn't. If you then click save, it will overwrite the original with no data. ...
