jray_771 Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 Anyone fly the P51 on a regular basis? I am flying with a Microsoft sidewinder force feedback and when I apply aileron trim, the aileron trim wheel inside the cockpit moves, the aleron trim tab moves but my stick pitch axis moves acording to the amount of trim applied and it greatly effects pitch not roll. When I adjust the elevator trim, the elevator trim wheel inside the cockpit moves, the elevator trim tab on the elevator moves but it effects the roll not the pitch..Is this a bug in DCS WORLD 1.5?
t4trouble Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 Should be a option in controls FF tune tick the box swap axis see does that help
SnowTiger Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 It is possible that what you are experiencing may be natural (although not feel that way !). When you are trimmed for straight, smooth flight, the Mustang's natural tendency may be to climb because the flight control surfaces are optimized. OR ... it may simply be that the Mustang still needs a TON OF WORK ! Reflected Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 I was just going to open a thread about this. Moving the aileron trim axis makes the aileron trim knob turn, but it operates the elevator trim. I'm sure it wasn't intended this way. Facebook Instagram YouTube Discord
SnowTiger Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 Okay... WOW.. That's interesting. I don't think that is what is happening on my end but I intend to take a look to be sure.
