slundal Posted February 14, 2016 Posted February 14, 2016 I don't know if this is a bug or just me doing something wrong so please move this thread if it is in the wrong place. Since the 1.5 update I've been unable to get my replays to play correctly. What always happens is that the replays simply doesn't play what actually happens. Sometimes my aircraft just skids out form the runway and can't take off. If it manages to take off it doesn't fly the same route and usually crashes somewhere along the flight. This happens with any aircraft I fly. (Mig 21, Hawk, Mirage 2000C). In both Black Sea and NTTR map. And whether I use the "speed up" function or not. Before the 1.5 I would get this issue maybe one out of 20 times. Now it is every time. Is this a known bug and I've just missed it while googling and looking for a solution in the forums. Or am I doing something wrong? Is there some setting I need to use for it to record correctly? I run a i7@4ghz, 16GB RAM and a 980ti so I don't think it is a performance issue. My DCS is installed on a separate HD from the OS.
WinterH Posted February 14, 2016 Posted February 14, 2016 I think it is a known bug. I have seen this happen to me on 3 different computers since 1.5.1 or so, with very different hardware. Wishlist: F-4E Block 53 +, MiG-27K, Su-17M3 or M4, AH-1F or W circa 80s or early 90s, J35 Draken, Kfir C7, Mirage III/V DCS-Dismounts Script
slundal Posted February 14, 2016 Author Posted February 14, 2016 But I've seen plenty of people being able to post videos on youtube where they have recorded flights during replays. So there should be some way to fix this.
Goldsmack Posted February 14, 2016 Posted February 14, 2016 It's a more recent bug. The videos your seeing are probably older versions of DCS.
