ex81 Posted February 14, 2016 Posted February 14, 2016 Hi all, I bought and downloaded the A10C and discovered there are textures for the Spangdalen/Germany jets. Now i`m wanting to edit them a bit for personal use, but I can`t find them anywhere in the folders I thought they should be. Can anybody please help me ? ex81 What goes up, must come down ! joey45 Posted February 14, 2016 Posted February 14, 2016 Try the zip file here > Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Bazar\World\textures *sniped... damn smoke alarm.. The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance. ex81 Posted February 14, 2016 Author Posted February 14, 2016 Got it and did some editing to one of the textures. I had to unzip it, so the question is: do I have to zip all the stuff again before i paste it back into the original folder ? ex81 What goes up, must come down ! GeorgeLKMT Posted February 14, 2016 Posted February 14, 2016 (edited) You can place your edited textures into the liveries* folder and edit the respective description.lua by changing "true" to "false", or you can create a folder named the same way as the zip (folder will take a priority, no need to mess with the zips to change a few things in it) *...\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Bazar\Liveries\A-10C\______\... ex81 Posted February 15, 2016 Author Posted February 15, 2016 It`s me again ! I wanted to place the edited textures into the Folder where they are stored originally. But it says "no permission" to do so. I worked on the unziped whole archiv, worked on just one texture and ziped the whole thing again. Then, I did was is discribed above. Oops, what now to do ??????? ex81 What goes up, must come down !
