if that's political the video and the whole thread is

i'm talking about weapons used in war and the military situation in a country. it has nothing to do with politics.

No clue as to what you're on about, I just liked what you had to say!

maybe. one aspect of the modern concept of "war crime" came as a way to further solidifying the allies' support base in and after ww2, and then this later took on a life of its own.

it is as silly as it is hypocritical to threaten an argument with the charge of it being a thought crime.

Being a hypocrite means not aplying to oneself the standard that he applies to others. Would you (or Enduro) be ok with it if some airforce of some country bombed your city with cluster bombs when your town harbored some really bad terrorists who violated the Geneva conventions and used you and your family as a human shield? I mean, same rules and principles would apply? Would that be justified? According to that comment of Enduro to which I responded, it is, unless he would violate his own standards which would be hypocritical. So you´re calling me a hypocrite while I was trying to point to the hypocrisy of that specific comment...that´s anoying.

I guess I will leave it at that.

Their lies the fundamental difference, we are not cowards and allow a bunch of miscreants to over run our country and we don't run from a fight. We stand and fight for our land and keep it as history has proven. The last 14 years of my life has been dealing with the lack of warrior ethos In These cultures and trying to change that in a way..... hence why we have to get involved. I never called you a hypocrite I only stated you don't know what the on ground truth is of that matter, even myself not being over their CURRENTLY things have dynamically changed to where I do t even have the perfect information.

I personally find the Geneva convention a bunch of BS as time again has proven our enemies do not follow it in my experience. Trust me in this instance Isis has and continues to do much worse to the civilian populace than any bomb has, and in this case as stated by other members the likely hood of civilians is unlikely as Isis basically over runs and takes over whole cities and city sections. But also bear in mind they also use human shields on a daily basis. So their is a chance of civilian casualties and it's an unfortunate fact of war. If we could just do the old gladiatorial war in stadiums I'm sure it would be much more humane... It's a complicated and fluid matter and with the inclusion of many more players in the game so to speak it's even more complicated due to politics but we won't go their.

Anyway the use of cluster bombs in a city section like this is not new and despite all this military commanders are very switched on in regards to using the proper tool for the job. Also the new gen clusters no longer have a high failure rate.
