RglsPhoto Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 (edited) Just like how it is in RL. If you shot down/eliminate a hostile and RTB safely. A killing mark will be paint automatically on your aircraft (it could be a star or the outline of your target). Of course all of the marks will be cleared as soon as you are killed/ejected. Northstar98 Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 Voted no, not because it's a bad idea, I mean it's a pretty good idea to add some personalisation to aircraft. But I think it would be better if we had customised kill markings that get added when you achieve xxx amount of kills etc, or just customisable 'decals' (similar to what we see in War Thunder). Imagine having an automatic system that adds one more marking with every kills, and then picture clocking kills well into the hundreds - that's a colossal amount of kill markings which may get too excessive, thus I'd rather have fully customisable 'decals' (they're kinda needed anyway as certain aircraft can only field specific tail code lengths (correct me if I'm wrong here), whereas IRL they're much more variable for example, the Su-25 we have can only have a maximum of 2 digits in it's code, a simple google search will reveal that they're much more variable, especially also in colour. SUBS17 Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 If this were the case my aircraft would be covered in kill markings lol. BTW you can make a skin and add kill markings. [sIGPIC] [/sIGPIC]
Sryan Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 If you die you'll lose all your markings. and you won't get them untill you land back at base. Check my F-15C guide
