The command for azimuth shift left ',' and azimuth shift right '/' do not move the radar scan on the VSD to the right or left when centered at 60 degree scanning.

Has the key stroke mapping changed?

Thank you.

;,./ are default tdc controls though...

you're not trying to shift radar azimuth in vertical scan or something are you?

I want to shift on the horizontal. I saw a training video on DCS, at 60 degrees the horizontal was able to sweep left and right, exactly like the Mig-29 does.

and it does.

i want more information though, what radar mode are you in?

F-15;

At 60 and 120 degrees in RWS and 60 degrees in TWS.

What key command are you using?

, and /, confirmed the radar is slewing azimuth in rws and tws mode.

did you make sure you are using the correct ;,./ keys located left of your enter key, and not the ones on your numpad?

Correction:

The command for azimuth shift left is [shift-','] and azimuth shift right [shift-'/']

I can move the TDC using the [;], [,], [.], [/] keys with no problem. What I'm referring to is moving only the azimuth scan zone indicator without the TDC moving.

When you have shift in front of the command [;], [,], [.], [/] it moves only the azimuth scan zone not the TDC.

That is a very old tutorial, you shouldn't be able to do that anymore.

The scanzone is glued to the TDC for ease of operation, so when you move the TDC you move your scanzone left or right.

That's how it is IRL and that is how it should work ingame.
