Ok, I'm getting really frustrated cause I'm not getting as near realistic simulation I should. just for the sake of science (and cause there aren't any servers for 50's era most of the time) I went to dogfight mig15 with su27 and now I can confirm that is unrealistic BIGtime. On picture attached you'll see how many complete circles I've made pulling overG for a long periods and that is over 9G's in su27 and believe me, we danced the same way before and after pulling between 7-8G's, and this is simply way off what MIG15 pilot would be able to withstand no matter the AIs difficulty stage. If you call this module stable I'll call it premature decision. Your modules are not cheap and I expect to use them in full spectrum after all we study long pages to fly this thing and in the end chasin' UFOs...

Just because you were pulling 9Gs doesn't mean the MiG was. If he was slower he would have been able to achieve the same turn rate with a lower G loading. Your example doesn't really show anything.

We were flying same speed sustaining similar turn rate, so I imagine that based on a pilots weight both were experiencing similar Gs. Take in mind that I was chasing him with full afterburner, only guns armed (no chaff and flare) and couldn't put him on predictor all the time, that's how aggressive he was. Image clearly shows descending turn-fight so the evidence of sustaining hi G's are there. Well, I've clearly seen what an experienced pilot in Mig15 can do on PvP and can't complain if getting shot down, and even those guys stated that they were fading out many times, comparing that to what AIs are doing here it's person vs superhuman.

It's worth checking on Tacview if you have access to that.

I haven't checked the Mig-15 AI in a while but I never remembered seeing them pull crazy Gs before. I found that I was consistently pulling higher Gs than the AI opponent throughout the whole fight. The AI opponents tended to fly smoother turns and climbing turns which helped them keep their speed up and caused people to complain about UFOs when in fact people (incl. me) were turning too sharply to chase them and bleeding off their own speed too quickly. The AI didn't go beyond 5Gs very often though if I remember right but I can check later tonight when I get home.

If you have a replay or a Tacview recording of the flight, have another look at what the MiG is doing. If you don't, try to recreate the situation in another flight. If you can tell us that the MiG was doing a sustained n G turn at an altitude of x feet and with a speed of y IAS, we can discuss if this is correct or not. OTOH if all you can say is that, from your perspective in a tightly turning Su-27, the MiG-15's turn looked wrong - that's not enough to base an opinion on.

shouldn't this complaint be aimed at ed and not belsimtek?

I think they both should take the responsibility to make it right. I never thought I'll have to take su27 to check on mig15, but I was getting nowhere with the Sabre no matter what I tried.

Forgot about tackview! Thanks for reminding me, and it's attached. Take a look from 13min till the end. I personally think the AI should fade out, if not for G's for the sake of what he's seeing behind him in 1953  . I've heard for mig15 pilot fading out pulling constant 7G's.

It was never my intention to complain, and it didn't happen over the night either, but constantly coming across something that doesn't look/work right takes it's toll on me. I can't tell enough good words for the pleasure Sabre gives me when flying it and how beautifully it's modeled, but in the end it has to function in whole perspective for what we are using it here.

EDIT: totaly forgot - Migs are all on "Good" difficulty.

Keep your speed up in the Sabre if you want to match the Mig. You have to resist pulling too sharply to get guns on the Mig quickly and losing your energy which makes following him up on subsequent climbs very hard. As a rule of thumb I make sure I'm going at least 300kts before attempting to follow the Mig up. I find that concentrating on keeping my energy up and basically following the Mig's turns and climbs while making slow positional inroads allows me to end up with more energy than the Mig after a few minutes. After that it's just a case of getting the pipper on target.
