I use an X-55 HOTAS with rudder pedals, and usually have a controller used for another game connected to the computer.

This is a problem because it means all 4 input devices have lots of bogus default assignments. Some are fine, others not so much. For instance, the throttles override the stick position by default, and if I don't clear all the axis on my unused controller it will override all of my controls. For flight controls in FC3 I plan on using the same assignments for every plane but have to indevidually set each plane up.

Is there a way to set a "blanket" profile for every plane in FC3? I would use the X-55's built in profile system but it is really finicky to get working.

DCS modules are built up to a spec, not down to a schedule.

In order to utilize a system to your advantage, you must know how it works.

If you want to just dump all the nonsense default bindings, make sure the ALL category is selected for the desired airframe, click on any binding on the desired controller (its column will highlight blue) and click the "CLEAR CATEGORY" button. That will delete all bindings for that controller.

F-15/Su 27/33/MiG-29 are all relatively compatible, control-wise, with a few airframe-specific features on each, but I think you'll find you want to do very different things with the Frogfoot/Grach and A-10A.
