rrohde Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 I think that EDGE is the best engine for DCS. :) PC: AMD Ryzen 9 5950X | MSI Suprim GeForce 3090 TI | ASUS Prime X570-P | 128GB DDR4 3600 RAM | 2TB Samsung 870 EVO SSD | Win10 Pro 64bit Gear: HP Reverb G2 | JetPad FSE | VKB Gunfighter Pro Mk.III w/ MCG Ultimate VKBcontrollers.com
cichlidfan Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 I think Outerra looks great, but I can't help noticing that there are no games using it. It's been around quite a while now, with no visible interest from the industry. Agreed, I'd love a DCS + Outerra marriage, they seem perfect together, the flight dynamics and the immersion of DCS coupled with the amazing maps from Outerra (plus underwater and the procedural craters etc). I think though, the problem lies with the Outerra development team, and correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think they are large by any standard, which explains the slow progress, the only game/sim I know of using it is Titanim Modules I own: F-14A/B, F-4E, Mi-24P, AJS 37, AV-8B N/A, F-5E-3, MiG-21bis, F-16CM, F/A-18C, Supercarrier, Mi-8MTV2, UH-1H, Mirage 2000C, FC3, MiG-15bis, Ka-50, A-10C (+ A-10C II), P-47D, P-51D, C-101, Yak-52, WWII Assets, CA, NS430, Hawk. MiG21bisFishbedL Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 Good God, not Gamebryo. Reformers hate him! This one weird trick found by a bush pilot will make gunfighter obsessed old farts angry at your multi-role carrier deck line up!
