There is already a whole, rather old, thread about Outerra.

I think that EDGE is the best engine for DCS. :)

I think Outerra looks great, but I can't help noticing that there are no games using it. It's been around quite a while now, with no visible interest from the industry.

Agreed, I'd love a DCS + Outerra marriage, they seem perfect together, the flight dynamics and the immersion of DCS coupled with the amazing maps from Outerra (plus underwater and the procedural craters etc).

 

I think though, the problem lies with the Outerra development team, and correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think they are large by any standard, which explains the slow progress, the only game/sim I know of using it is Titanim
