Curves and Deadzones

Sorry for the noobert question..

 

What Curves, Deadzone do you guys use with the Mirage?

 

It seems a little too twitchy with my X52 pro, especially when trying to do something that requires finesse like AA refueling or landing.

18 points of curvature on stick for X and Y using TM Warthog. No deadzone. Saturation default.

Hard to answer this, it's all about personnal taste and hardware quality. Hotas Cougar here, curves at 5, deadzone at 6/7 (it's an old Cougar... but i love this thing!). If it's too twitchy when your stick is centered, you may have a look on the deadzone zone setting and start with that.

I use a Warthog with the main-spring removed and extra grease for improved precision (mainly for improved helicopter flying), I have absolutely no trouble controlling the mirage with no curves and no deadzones, I actually like the recent changes because it doesn't feel like flying a computer anymore.

 

I had a X52 before the Warthog too, and it helped for me to compress the spring with a cabletie for less centering force and added some grease on the frictioning parts. I always had problems with removing deadzone in the X52 though (I dont like deadzones).

I have no curves or dead zones on my Warthog. However, I do have a small dead zone on my CH pedals (bit spiky) and 10 curve.
