CHPL Posted May 17, 2016 Author Posted May 17, 2016 We do have a Gazelle video thread you know. Glad your getting better with her. Hey Roie Greetings from the 2. Bundesliga (VFB) to Augsburg (where ever they are) You are absolute right; there is already a thread for nice Gazelle Videos. “But” that’s not my intention when opening a new one. May by, I am the worst helicopter pilot ever, :(but there must be at least one more reason, why der are so many different experience with the Gazelle out there. And after 2 Weeks flying the Gazelle I am sure, even the flight characteristics are challenging, that’s not the main reason. My intention well be, to point out, what else may lead to such different percipience in a serious substitution. What are the difficulty’s and what’s the personal solution that may help others. There are many conclusions out there they may be collected in one special thread. ( Hardware, Hardware adjustments, Software, and so forth. One mayor issue may be an improved Cockpit view, so using TrackIR will be a big advantage. I will find it out by myself, so if anybody is looking for a Birthday Gift I will excited about? :megalol: Always happy landings ;)
The_Fragger Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 Hi CHPL, 1. Before taking off you need to apply right rudder. 2. Apply very small dips on collective and Stick 3. When you land, trim a bit to the rear and also apply small dips of input. It's a light helicopter. You need to get the Weight, RPM and blade count into account :) Olli Hey Roie Greetings from the 2.
