If you're pulling 6gs i doubt you would have a valid gun solution to make a kill, at that point i would just go ahead and force lock the pipper straight ahead untill the target in within a 3g maneuver or snapshot if all else fails.

GSh-23-2, muzzle velocity 715m/s. 0.42s TOF to 300m. @750 km/h (208 m/s), 6G radial acceleration. R = 1333m, C = 8377m. 40.3s per 360° or 8.9°/s. Multiply by 0.42 for 3.75° deflection.

 

That's pretty rough math. The manual says the sight remains visible up to 5-6g.

Radar altitude errors relative to ground level are still present. I thought the github said that the issue had been addressed and the fix would be in the next update?

 

EDIT: Nope, Afterburner is fine, I'm just a jerk and was doing something wrong.

Try high AOA manouvering, its completely different to the last FM, as in not remotely similar. Perhaps you only fly the 21 like a 747 in FSX?

The communication could be better but after reading posts like that anyone could loose their engagement or would have to grow a very thick skin.

What kind of critical bugs? The definition of critical is that it stops software from being usable at all. Does MiG-21 cause a crash to desktop on start? As far as I can tell the MiG-21 is far far away from any of that. Can you point any module that didnt had issues? Better can you point any software that doesn't have any bugs?

There are other modules that had much more serious problems but the real problem with MiG-21 is that it's easy to lost the track on the real progress on due to sheer amount of something is wrong posts that fail to provide any description of the problem or constructive arguments on how it should be fixed. Sometimes it's almost like reading "my car just got a flat tire... noooo, it's a critical bug, they should sold the company and sell their business". Then after a while others will start repeating that it wasn't a single tire but all of them including a spare one in the trunk.

Radar seems to be working fine in Alpha. I can see and designate targets, low alt, just fine. Could this be in relation to how ancient the Black Sea map is?

It's not that different. There's no need to try and be smarmy. :music_whistling: Besides, I prefer not to dump airspeed like a truckload of Limp Bizkit albums after the year 2002.

As long as radar and ASO-2 broken? Half a year maybe longer? The module is no easy to use, but if does not work ASO-2 radar, aircraft in combat unusable. In addition to the visual fight. In the combat simulator quite substantial error when the fighter is not applicable. This is not critical? It must get my PC black death so it was critical ??

The Leatherneck Public bugtracker is enough bugs, which are described in detail.

In multiplayer, I noticed one thing. MiG-21 being deprived of the sky. Are they responsible for this problem, users or developers?

Don't worry, many of us understand. Great to hear that the radar fixes are coming, i really expected them to be in testing for next update, too :)

That's from the asp. Knob on bottom left corner on the side of the sight facing to the left controls the brightness

Gentlemen enough was speculation and words .. that speaks for itself. Freezes from the back as real. !!!! The mere sound mod gives the aircraft a huge reality. So what we are talking. The default audio MiG-21bis, which is formed by reality?
