sedenion Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 I know somebody thrown this bug somewhere, but i can't find it, so i leave that here: The commands "Next Waypoint" and "Previouw Waypoint" shortcuts does not work. ( I'am using 1.5.4 Open Beta )
diditopgun Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 Because you have to enter the waypoint number in the INS now, it's not only a one key command. You have to do 3 actions to switch to an other waypoint manually (or then overfly waypoint to automatic switch in NAV mode): Exemple to switch from WP01 to WP02: DEST -> 0 -> 2 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Intel I7 8700K / RTX 3080 / 32Go DDR4 PC21300 G.Skill Ripjaws V / MSI Z370 Gaming Pro Carbon / Cooler Master Silent Pro Gold - 1000W / Noctua NH-D14 / Acer XB270HUDbmiprz 27" G-synch 144Hz / SSD Samsung 860EVO 250Go + 1To / Cooler Master HAF X / Warthog+VPC WarBRD / Thrustmaster TPR / Track-IR v5 + Track Clip Pro / Windows 11 64bits.
sedenion Posted July 5, 2016 Author Posted July 5, 2016 Because you have to enter the waypoint number in the INS now, it's not only a one key command. Hmm, no, you have, because you are an Hardcore Gamer with special skills for mouse clicking... :D I hope the Shortcut command will be implemented... Zeus, any comment ? I remember you say that it will be restored... wrong ? You have to do 3 actions to switch to an other waypoint manually (or then overfly waypoint to automatic switch in NAV mode): Exemple to switch from WP01 to WP02: DEST -> 0 -> 2 Yes, i read the manual, and i know the concept of changing channel on a car stereo, but to change channel on my car stereo, i can freely and quickly move my eyes, head and fingers... :p
Zeus67 Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 It is not working, so I will check/redo it. "Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better idiot-proof programs, and the Universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the Universe is winning." "The three most dangerous things in the world are a programmer with a soldering iron, a hardware type with a program patch and a user with an idea."
Davee Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 It is not working, so I will check/redo it. Hi Zeus, Only the "Next" command was working in earlier versions - should the "Previous" command also work in the Mirage? I see it in the key commands. Thanks,
Azrayen Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 Guys, winter is coming. Features too. A bit more patience :)
sedenion Posted July 18, 2016 Author Posted July 18, 2016 The good news: Its works ! and now we even have the "previous" cycle \o/ \o\ /o/ Thanks :) The bad news: Still a gremlin... The "previous" cycle acts correctly, but the "next" cycle reaches up to an hypothetical last waypoint that does not exist (and is very far) before looping to the first one. For example, a mission with 4 wp : 0(startup) - 1 - 2 - 3 - 4(land) The "prev" cycle: 4>3>2>1 >> 4 (and so on) The "next" cycle: 1>2>3>4>5 >> 1 (and so on)
