GrEaSeLiTeNiN Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 Hi, Is there a way to Pause the game but still allow the player to work on the cockpit functions such as the radar systems? Falcon 4.0 had this option. It's a cheat but a useful option for beginners. I suppose if there isn't, then a work around would be to decelerate the time? GrEaSeLiTeNiN Posted July 11, 2016 Author Posted July 11, 2016 Thanks. I'll try it tonight. But I noticed it's not indicated in the key commands? GrEaSeLiTeNiN Posted July 11, 2016 Author Posted July 11, 2016 Ahh I see, thanks. I tried it. But everything around you still continues moving, friendlies and enemies. Only your plane stays suspended in mid-air. I suppose that's why they called it Active Pause. In Falcon 4.0, everything would stop except your cockpit functions. That allowed a newbie time to figure out stuff like scanning and locking up targets. dresoccer4 Posted July 29, 2016 Posted July 29, 2016 what i did when i was learning and messing with controls was go into the mission editor, stick some bogeys on the map and have them set to "orbit" and "weapons hold". then stick my plane at the same altitude a little ways away, and active pause when the mission begins. then you have all the time in the world to mess with the radar, stress free!
